Worship
From its inception, Mountainside has intentionally been a contemporary worship church. That can mean lots of things, but what you will find when you join us is a service that seeks to meet people where they are, sermons that encourage us in the faith, and music that will keep you humming all afternoon long. We utilize technology to enhance our worship experience through videos, movie clips, and other experiential tools that aid to draw us into the message for that day. Dress is casual and comfortable. Our services are streamed weekly on Facebook Live on our Facebook page. Join us at 9:30am if you are traveling or unable to be with us in person.

Welcome to the Mountainside Methodist church community!
Jesus’ words are recorded in Matthew 21:13, “My house will be called a house of prayer.” This is the foundation upon which the body of Mountainside rests. Our God is an intimate, personal God, and it’s through prayer that we commune with Him. We follow the example God gave to the nation of Israel for our services. We pray, we praise, we worship, we hear His Holy Word taught, and we commit ourselves to living every day for Him. The relationships we have with our fellow believers is strengthened through our fellowship with each other, just as we fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit. And lastly, we believe we are truly the hands and feet of Christ. We desire to serve each other and those in the world who need to hear the Good News and grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
